Default Futaba receiver question.

I have a couple of 4 ch. rec. and need to figure out which way the servo plugs into it. The servos and sc have white, black and red wires on them and how do I know which way to plug them into the rec. There is no pos. or neg. marked on the rec.
Thanks phaz
The rec. are r114f

Default RE: Futaba receiver question.

If you use Futaba servo leads, they have a small tab on one side so you can't plug it in wrong. Look for the small slot for that tab in the rx case where the leads plug in. Worst case scenario, try it and if it works you've got it figured out, if it doesn't work pull the plug out and reverse it. It won't hurt the rx or the servo to plug it in backward as the hot lead (red) is in the middle, the ground (black) and signal (white) leads are on the sides, it just won't work if plugged in wrong.

On all the recievers I have seen recently, the side of the plug closest to the outside of the PC board is the negative or black lead; on the ones where the connectors are at right angles to the PC board, the side closest to the PC board is the negative lead.
