Default Hitec servo flutter

Hi all,

I have a Hitec 7 Eclipse, Supreme receiver and use Hitec ball bearing analogue servos.

Yesterday I noticed all the servos fluttering on my GP 300s.

When I removed the (remote) plug igniter the fluttering disappeared.

I suspect there was a bad connection somewhere in the remote plug lead when the engine started to vibrate the airframe.

Should I be concerned about it? I don't like the idea of fluttering servos when I'm flying!

The metal on metal contact was probably creating rf and Im pretty sure that was the source of your surface jittering. the lead acting as an antenna. Of course you should look for frayed - broken wires on the remote glow system and correct if necessary. I would Just do a good range check after removing the starter and If good .. fly. Ive seen it happen before

I've seen glow plug boosters cause RF problems when plugged in before. Typically it is only the pulsed or "smart" current limiting boosters that cause the problem. As long as everything is fine with the booster unplugged, I wouldn't worry about it.

My servos always jitter when attaching the glow igniter. Fut 127DF and 3004 servos. It is just the metal to metal contact.

Thanks for the responses.

I kinda knew it might be OK, but it's always worth asking for advice from the experts!

Thanks again.
