Manufactered by JR and are Excellent quality. I have been using JR for past 5 years after I switched from Futaba. I like how they feel better in my hand and my 8103 is easy to program.

JR is a stand alone company. Formed in the middle seventies by two ex-Sanwa design engineers.
Over the years JR has built up an enviable reputation of quality and reliability throughout the world.
I think you will find equipment from other Pacific Rim manufacturers is just as highly thought of.
Check out their own company site.

Mechanically and electronically I found them to be excellent. The programing is very versitle. They cost a bit more but it's worth it in my book.

JR is tops , the 8103 is an excellent all round radio for helis and planes.
The JR 10X is a dedicted plane or heli radio unlike the Futaba9Z , which is top of the rnage futba offering versatility.
I will settle for JR anytime although I fly Futaba

Ditto here. I have both a JR 10x and a Futaba 9Z. I'd fly either brand without any qualms over quality or reliability. While I prefer the 10X for the extra 2 proportional channels it provides, I like the versatility of the 9Z in switch layout. What I want is for the 10X and 9Z to collide, and get a 9Z with the extra 2 channels. That would be nice!
