Default Dual Elevator Servos With an RD6000 - SOLVED!

A couple of people have asked me how to setup a RD6000 with dual elevator servos. Note that the new RD8000 will allow you to use pre programmed mixes for this.

Anyway, here's how you do it:

1. Act Flape for two Ail Servos on Ch 2 and 6

2. Act V-Tail for two Elev Servos on Ch 1 and 4

3. Rudder EPA “0” L and R

4. Rudder Servo Plug into CH 5

5. EPA CH 5 Set up and down EPA to “0”

6. C-Mix 1,2 Switch on all the time

7. C-Mix Master Rudder / Slave Gear

8. Rud/Gear MIX Adjust to 100 +or- for L and R

9. Rudder Trim Use Gear EPA to adjust Rudder trim

Do Not Use Gear Switch and leave normal Rudder trim in neutral.

DO NOT use rudder trim to find neutral trim. You can use Gear EPA + or - for trim. If you set Gear EPA to set rudder neutral, the total throw or end points will change left or right. To correct the rudder end points you can use the C-Mix end points to correct.

Elevator trim works on both channels.
