Default Receivers and crystals?????

I just purchased a new Airtronics 6000 sport radio for my pica F-82 will this radio command a Futaba or Jr receiver,if the receivers are on the same channel as the Airtronics??? Will a Jr reciever work on a Airtronics or Futaba battery??? What I am trying to do is get away from having two types of batteries to charge,As you can tell I am new at this sport,But love it already!!!!!!!!!

Generally Airtronics will work with JR but not with Futaba. With Hitec and some other brands you can buy specific "JR compatible" versions that will also work.

However I believe the RD 6000 Sport is switchable between PPM (JR/Airtronics mode) and what they call PPM-Invert (Futaba mode) in which case it should work with any receiver.

In any case you should always use the manufacturer's crystal, JR receiver = JR crystal, Futaba Rx = Futaba crystal.

Generally batteries and servos are all interchangeable anyway, sometimes with a little trimming of the connector.
