Default radio repair

I'm new to the hobby, Recently received an (Expert) radio that works well however the gimbles need to be replaced. From what I understand World is out of buisness and the parts are not available. Okay but surely there must be other radios out there sitting on shelves with other unused parts , does anyone have any suggestions?
