Default PCMS and PCMZ

Hi, just a general question, what is the difference between these 2 types of PCM? I've also seen them labelled as PCM512 and PCM1024.

Thanks, Paul

The numbers you see show the # of steps in the servo. 1024 in much finer and has better centering. The 512 is the same as PPM (FM) to most people. Dennis

Does this not depend on the Servo itself though? I assume most standard PCM is 1024 as well?

The older PCM was 512 and the newer is 1024 (doubling the output pulse). The servo will respond to either pulse but of course the1024 is smoother with less movement between each step.
