I have been running one for about 5 years. I think it is a very good unit. It has all of the options that I have ever needed. I managed to break the battery connection on it so I sent it in to Horizon and had it back in two weeks. They fixed it up and replaced the Lithium. The price was not to outragous either.

Do you think this would be a good first computer radio for a beginner/novice? I am flying a trainer right now but may want to fly a copter some day. Is this a good recommendation for my needs?, I found the whole set up (reciever, new batteries, good servos, etc.) for about 100.00, do you think this is a good deal?
Thanks for the fast reply.

This is a good "first computer radio". Make sure you get the manual with it. The price is good even if you need to replace the batteries. I do not have a chopper but I know the radio is setup to run them.
