Default Futaba T8UAF, How long?

Hey guys, I bought my Futaba T8UAF on 4/5/99. I have had years of faithful service. But I thought of something that has me a bit worried. Isnt there a internal battery, lithium maybe, that keep all my settings? How long do those typically last? Am I flying on borrowed time, or do these last ten plus years?

thanks in advance........[]

There is no backup battery in this transmitter. Nearly all Futaba transmitters, with the exception of the 9z, use NV ram... I don't actually know what the 12z, 14MZ, and the new 12FG will use...
