Futaba R5114dps receiver
#1

Anybody seen this behavior?:
Fairly new R5114DPS with 12Z on 50mhz, less than 30 flights. Problem now has occurred on 3 separate days in 2 different planes.
After perhaps the 3rd or 4th flight, I turn on the system to do a control system check and the control surfaces move in a jerky, intermittent manner. System does not seem to be in failsafe, as throttle has not moved to that position. Happens with and without engine running. Battery voltage still good at 6v. Transmitter batteries above 50%.
When I get it home for more testing, all works normally.
I thought it might be heat related, but I couldn't make it happen either with gentle heat gun application or letting the plane sit out in the yard all afternoon. Last occurrence was on a moderate temperature day.
I was getting failsafe lockouts occasionally with one of my planes and this receiver, but this could be an unrelated noise issue (or not).
I haven't had any problems with my PCM 1024 receivers.
Thoughts anyone?
Thanks,
Dan
