Is A Futaba FP-R117H receiver narrow band?
My several year old FP-T6FG transmitter has quit, and I need to know if it is practical to send it somewhere for repair, or simply replace the whole system with a new FM system since a repair would probably be 2/3 of the cost of a new radio.
HELP!!!!!

Thanks for the info -- But I have run into a contradiction --The Futaba FP-T6FG AM Transmitter on Channel 54 has a gold sticker on it, but according to the information is illegal. (The receiver is A R117H which IS narrow band and legal.) Is the transmitter legal or not? I STILL am not sure! Should I S--T can the whole works and get a new system?

Many of the old FG AM transmitter passed gold sticker testing and were/are legal to operate (I had one). If you go back to the above link and look at item 3 it will clarify it.

Thank you very much for clearing up my confusion -- I had been caught up in the legal transmitter--illegal receiver problem with another brand radio, and it cost me a wad! This one should be worth repairing, or at least checking on a repair cost. Thanks again.
