Default Power output of JR 9303 2.4Ghz??

Hi guys,

I am hearing different stories on what the power output is of Spectrum and JR9303 2.4 sets. I know in the US 500 mw is legal but do the TX,s actually put out this figure or is it less?

The reason I ask is that I am coming over for a meeting soon and I am a little worried about standing on a flightline with my 100mw set next to radios pumping out 500mw.

Thanks in advance
Jason

In the US the FCC has edicted that we keep our fingers out of the RF section. Most people do, so if your frequency is different from the other fellows you should be safe, untess you are worried about your testicles then I can't make any guarentees. Watch where he points his antenna.

I know I should be safe but I would like to know exactly what the difference in power is.

I recon I will buy a US set anyway when I get there but its not legal over here.

Anyone know what the power output of these sets? (or the spectrums for that matter)

I think you will find its not all that importent. If you really have to know call Tony Stillman at Radio South. If you look in the latest AMA magazine you can get his email address.

I understand that the maximum unlicensed pwr limit on 2.4 is 100mW here in the colonies. That would be the maximum for 2.4 band RC as these are unlicensed units.
