jr 610 RECIEVER IN .40 GAS PLANE?
JR claims that the R610 receiver is full range, and I've heard of people using this receiver in this size of plane before.
I've got a R610 in my Ripmax Zephyr. It only uses a .15 engine but has a 62" wingspan, so you could say its a .40 sized plane.
I've not had any range / interference problems. If you happen to have one to hand then it'll be OK to use, but if you need to buy it then I'd recommend you may as well get a R700 just to be safe.
Using a R610 instead of a R700 ain't gonna save much weight, there are better ways to do this. I use a 600mha nimh battery, its AAA size so its about half the weight of a standard battery. You could also save an ounce by using a micro servo (HS-81) on the throttle.

jr 610 RECIEVER IN .40 GAS PLANE?
Just had a look on the HH site. It sure looks like a R610M to me.
I guess if you already have it, you could try peeling that sticker off and seeing if there's a JR sticker underneath.
Expert seems to be HH's own brand stuff.
Recently, I phoned HH to get some spare prop blades for an Expert 280 motor gear 3 blade prop combo. The package I received containing the hub and 3 blades was Hangar 9 for a Fokker!
Now its got me intrigued as to what this Hangar 9 Fokker is.....
Found it! Turns out it's a Fokker Eindecker E.III parkflyer.....
