Default Matchbox - stepped controls with retract servos?

I have read that you can use the JR matchbox with retract servos to enable multiple servos to be activated sequentially from a single channel by adjusting the endpoints- Maybe I can explain what I want to do a little better with an example:

On a 3 position switch:

Position 1 - Gear up (Servo A 0%), Tailhook up (Servo B 0%)
Position 2 - Gear down (Servo A 100%), Tailhook up (Servo B 0%)
Position 3 - Gear down, Tailhook down (Servo A 100%, Servo B 100%)

I like this solution rather than sucking up channels that I don't have to spare, or using a mechanical means which migh introduce a failure point into my system.

Am I interpreting this correctly, and Has anyone had any experience trying this?

Thanks,

-Jeff

This would be with a channel expander, not a match box.

Hey that looks even better- There was an article (I think on the JR website) that talked about using the matchbox to do the same thing, but you had to use retract servos to accomplish it. This looks even better, because I can use smaller servos.

Thanks!
