JR, Futaba, Hitec, etc are all interchangable.

YOu will have no problems doing this. Just make sure they are plugged in the right way

Default thanks

Thanks for the help. I was concerned that they may not work and I just bought a futaba receiver and thought I might have to replace the JRs in my US 40.

I thaught the JR's had their signal in the middle? The futaba is the white one, on the outside

No, there's no difference in their wiring, except I think I read somewhere that JR servos rotate in the opposite direction.

I mainly use JR servos (not digital) with my Futaba transmitter and receivers. Never had a problem.

Futaba has a little tab on the end which can be trimmed. The wiring scheme is Black Red White on Futaba, Brown Dark Orange Light Orange JR, Black Orange Yellow Hitec all are + - signal

I know the JR rotate opposite from Futaba and I think Hitec does also.

The one that is a problem is Airtronics they have the -+signal and a larger connector except for the new Z connectors which are +-signal and the same size as the JR I don't remember the color scheme.
