Default glitching

i think its just my receiver dirty but im not sure...i just have a cheapo hitec aggressor AM channel and sometimes when i turn the car on and drive it the throttle and steering goes nuts. Its on a gas powerd truggy and didnt know if a dirty receiver would cause this and whats a good way to clean them out/the wires also
