Default Running 2.4 Antenna

Is their any benefit to running the antenna leads on Futaba 2.4 receivers outside the plane-maybe just the exposed wire end, or is it pointless?

Default RE: Running 2.4 Antenna

Been use the Futaba 2.4 since last May. Antennas are totally inside the fuse. Five glow engines 46 to BGX1 and a G-62 gasser. Seems pointless for these types of planes.

There may be a benefit if you are running electric motors, a very large gas engine, or using carbon fiber body.
