crystal ident. question
I have a Ch 30 crystal with a blue stripe on the tag.
Is it Futaba, or Hitec? (I have no radio equipment left with which to compare it)

Sounds like a Hitec dual conversion Rx. crystal:

As for me I would never use an unknown crystal or a used one functional or not and certainly I would never buy a used one.
That micro thin silicon wafer inside can easily be rendered cracked and imediately useless or fail later with just a drop to a hard floor from a bench.

It was my O.E.
I sold all my radio stuff (Hitec, and Futaba)when I went to the FAAST system.
Somehow, this crystal never got sold with the receiver.
