Default 2.4Ghz & RF Noise?

Been considering transitioning over to 2.4Ghz but does anyone know if the 2.4Ghz is affected by RF noise that typical 72Mhz systems react to from electronic ignition gas engines?

[8D]No problems...I am running a DL50 on my Giant Aeromaster...JR 9303/2.4....The throttle linkage is 4/40 wire with a metal clevis...not problems.
Go to : www.spektrumrc.com and read about Spektrum 2.4 ghz...the rf noise area is a lower frequency than 2.4

Hope this helps

Look in the gas engine section under fuji 43 rfi probs. Mrammo said it was worst with his 9303 2.4 than 72mhz.

In most cases, rf generated by our systems are in a frequency range not often effecting 2.4GHz but not always. We had one case at our field where the electronic ignition system made a 2.4GHZ unit unflyable yet did not bother the 72 MHz units, not normal but it can happen. All frequencies can be effected by interference, especially any where sparking is involved as a spark (an electrical discharge across a gap between two conductors) usually contains components of all frequencies.

Bingo Rodney;

There are ancient patents of spark gap microwave transmitters. If the wiring around the spark is accidentally tuned to 2.4 GHz, it is a jammer.

Of course its possible but very, very improbable on 2.4 ghz. Its not only possible but probable on 72 mhz
