I dont know what kind of radio You have but a "Y" connector well let you operate both elevator servos from a single stick. Or you can have one servo as a Master and the other as a Slave with a mix function if you have that.

BobH, I am mixing ch2 and ch7 . It actually works but when I try to trim ch2, ch7 doesn't move.

I have done this mix before and was able to trim ch2 along with ch7 or ch8 or ch5 ?

Ah the trim problem. As far as I know most radios won't trim both servos when mixed. Only the Master servo gets trimmed.. as to how does one do that? Good question. Perhaps some one will chime in who knows the answer.

You must have the 7 CAP? No way to do it if that is the case. You need a reversing Y, or upgrade to a 9 CAP.

If the "Tracker II" you are referring to in the title of you thread is a Polk's
Tracker II transmitter then that is the problem. The initial software version
of the Tracker II DID NOT allow trim to follow to the Slave servo(s).

Polk's modified that with what was, I believe, the last software update to the
radio which was done just prior to the release of the Tracker III.

I flew a Tracker II for a year and was aware of the problem.

Polk's used to (and may still) update the software (firmware) at no cost
except one way shipping to them.

Deadeye:

According to Futaba their new 2.4GHz 7-CAP was mofified to allow dual elevator servos with trim on both. AFAIK, the change was only
made to the 2.4GHz model.

dant-RCU, I beleive I have the latest upgrade for my tracker II, which is version 1.35. If you know this isn't the upgrade please let me know what version your radio shows. Thanks

Thanks Dan, I clicked on this thread and then forgot the subject; which is why I responded like a knucklehead. I hadn't had any coffee yet, I guess. Good to know about the new 7 CAP. They apparently read the disdain expressed here about the first one lacking that.

CAP:

Can't help you on the version number, sorry. Replaced the Tracker II with a Royal Evo 9 then replaced that with a Futaba 12Z which is my current radio. You could send
an e-mail to Polks and they would let you know. John was always very good getting answers back to users.

Deadeye:

Yes, I am sure Futaba got an earful on that one. It would seem to be such a basic option to put into a new computer radio since dual elevators are quite common now.
