I just got a new 12Z and it's pretty sweet. I have a few questions

1. any screen protectors out there for this unit?

2. After market battery what type and who has the best prices?

3. What type of Data Card are people using to expand the memory and who has the best prices?

4. Any other "pearls of wisdom" feel free to post

I have a 14MZ, but I can answer some of your questions.

1. Since the 12 does not have a touch screen I would think any generic screen cover would work

2. Battery is a Sony NP-F570, I buy mine at Amazon for about $28. You can find it cheaper other places or by buying a generic brand

3. Any compact flash card should work. You don't need a very big one, I haven't used up the 32meg card that came with my radio. You can get 512 meg cards for $10-15

4. No help here except your cheeks can get sore from all the smiling. Good choice of radio, you will love it.
