Trainer cord Spektrum to Futaba
Can anybody suggest a trainer cord that will work using the Spektrun as a master and the Futaba 7C as a slave?

Indeed, the Han 173 from Horizon Hobbies works fine. In your case you will also need the adaptor cable female din (round) to male square Han 174 :

above the Han 173 :

So this adaptor cable works only one way : Spectrum or JR as master, Futaba as slave
