662 vs RD6000
I have ruled out the 6xas but can't decide between these two radios. Will an Airtronics radio control a JR reciever, if it can it would make them even in the fact that I could sell my old radio (421) and just control all my planes with this one. Which one would be better?

Nice thing about the RD6000 is that is has a timer/stopwatch; for heli it has muti-point throttle curve iirc. Also you might consider the RD8000 for a little more. fwiw you can get transmitters alone at:

Personally I prefer the 662 styling and it's easy to program as it follows along with the rest of the JR line. You might also consider (~$130 more) the 8103 which comes with 4 digital sports servo ($380 shipped most places).

I run the RD6000 Super with it's own receiver and an Futaba 127 receiver. The Airtronics will work with the JR as well. The 8000 is an een better deal. Go to www.rcshobbieslaportein.com or www.heliproz.com for the BEST deals on these radios. were talking around $259 with 322 ball bearing servos I beleive for the 6000, or is it the 8000???? Still an excellent deal. And the rd's will do more than the others at a lower price. I absolutely love the RD6000 super I run
