Default DX6i tx

How does the 4.8v ni-cad battery work on the DX6i? Just noticed that the xmtr batt was 4cell and not 6cell ni-cads. I know it states it is for all size planes but am concerned about the small xmtr battery. Still sounds like it may be limited to park flyers and/or mini servos. Anyone using this radio for 40 and above planes with standard servos?

The new modern 2.4 electronics actually run at lower voltages in most applications the tx on some have dropping regulators
not to worry- this is a killer good bargain - tx output has nothing to do with rx and batt combos
