Default Hitec jr rx question

Guys,I did a search and couldnt come up with an answer,so I'll ask a question thats been beat to death,I just cant remember the answer.I just picked up a rtf airplane with a hitec rx that has a channel 60 crystal for jr.I fly all futaba stuff on channel 48.Can I throw my 48 channel crystal in there?I remember reading something about postive shifts or something.Sorry to beat a dead horse like this.

Default Hitec jr rx question

If the RX is for JR/Airtronics it will not work wit Futaba/HiTec TX's.
As you mentioned there is positive and negative shift equipmnet.

Unless it is capable of shift select, which is an option on specific HiTec RX's. Any how I doubt it in you case, one is never so lucky...

Default Hitec jr rx question

The shift select Hitec Rx's that I have seen have a plug with a jumper wire to select the shift.

Just took a look at my hitec rx's. They say right on top "use with hitec or fut tx"
