Futaba 14mz 2.4 update
I came across this.. It's probably the best info for updating the 14mz I've seen..
You need to put the files and directories in the update onto the the Compact Flash disk of your 14MZ. Then inside the panel on the right hand side where the compact flash goes, there is a small dip switch at the bottom that needs to be flicked up to allow a software upgrade.
Then turn your radio on and it will say "push rotary knob" to begin upgrade. Press it and off it will go. Once it finishes it will say to flick the small dip switch to the opposite position (down) and then power the radio off.
