Hitec HS 425BB vs. Futaba S3001 Servos
Opinions?
Which servo is better for a 40-60 size sport/aerobatic plane. Transit times and torque ratings are similar. The 3001 is referred to as a "precision" servo and is more expensive. Any other particular recommendations in this range? Cost is an issue, otherwise I would be considering the "premium" servos offered by both manufacturers.

Just my opinion but I like the hitec 425's much better. Ive had lots of them and they have all been great with strong geartrains. Some of the 3001's I have used have had sloppy centering after a while. I havent used them but for just a few more bucks you could try the new 475's. They have a little more torque

Hitec 425bb are great servos! I have had about 10 of them and have had NO problems with any of them.... I used them on a Graunper Super Air, Profile funfly, and old old trainer
