Chip, what type of connectors do you have on your servos?

I have Deans connectors on them now. Back in the day I had a couple different receivers so I made up "Receiver X Deans" pigtails and put Deans an all my servos.
That way I could swap out a servo regardless of Receiver brand.
This tiny new Futaba R607FS receiver has " J " connectors which I never had before.

Chip, the pins themself are avaible at electronics suppliers like DigiKey. The problem is the housing. I scrounge every housing I can. I had a crash a month ago that cracked four of the housings where they plug into the receiver. My collection allow me to replace them at no cost. I did find though that all housings, even the J housings are the same. I had two that the pins wouldn't push into far enough to latch up correctly.

Don

PS, look on Ebay. There are several sellers that will sell you a small bundle of extentions for a reasonable price.

MPI has Universal connectors that I use when I need to attach a Futaba male to a JR female. They come with the Futaba female on one end and the JR male on the other. I do not like to use an Xacto knift to modify the Futaba male as it is difficult to get it to fit in a JR female connector and difficult to remove from a JR female connector. The other option is to cut the Futaba leads off and solder on JR leads. I have, for example, an I4C Isolator with 9 Futaba pigtails that would have to be modified to fit into a JR or Spektrum receiver. What a pain

I have not tried these guys yet but check them out. Look under "wires". Let me know if you order from them, how they are.

One thing I ran into was that I had a hard time pushing third party JR compatible male connectors into Spektrum receivers. JR males seemed to fit perfectly, but Jr compatible male connectors had to be lined up Perfectly and pushed in hard.

Also, a number of guys in my RC club went to Toledo and bought 22ga JR compatible connectors that looked great and could not be distinguished from JR connectors. I ran into some issues where some of these connectors did not work properly. I will have to verify this again, but be careful.

I have had no problems with MPI or Hitec brand JR compatible connectors.

The best price I've seen is from Dymond RC. The price is $5 per set of ten pins and housings. Here's the link: http://www.rc-dymond.com/index.php?productID=409
I've also got some from AirWild Hobbies also sells gold plated Futaba male connectors, for $10 per ten. Here's that link: http://www.airwildhobbies.com/MoreIn...&level=2&id=39

These are the only two brands I've used recently, and they are both good.

Dymond has the plugs on leads for $1.50 each.

ServoCity has Hitec male leads (I think these are universal connectors) for .99 cents, on the "web specials". That might be the best deal for you yet. http://www.servocity.com/html/web_specials.html

You can't beat this price:

http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=5592&Product_Name=30CM_Servo_Lead_(Futaba)_32AWG_Ultra_ Light&cda=6614

Great place for picking up those kinds of things.

Never gone over ten days to ship to me in PA with the cheapest shipping method.

And if you need servos, check out these:
