Default DX3R

I read about this radio and am a little confused.
Ok so first, it says that it can store up to 30 models.
Does this mean that you'll need a receiver for every model you use?
Or is there only one receiver that you move back and forth?

Sorry, because this is my first experience with digital radios.

Most of us buy recievers for each model. Though you could move one reciever around, that would be labor intensive.
