Default JR and Futaba compatibility

The antenna to my JR10x is not usable anymore, it hyperextended...lol will i be ok using antenna from a futaba radio?

If the Futaba antenna has the same type of screw and it will properly screw into your transmitter AND it is the same diameter at the base (if it is thinner the antenna will be putting a lot of pressure on the internal board... not good) AND the antenna is not shorter and not longer when extended, you should be fine. Your transmitter is like any other radio transmitter. The entire transmitting circuit has to be properly tuned to provide good performance. Mechanically and electronically speaking, you could use a coat hanger as long as it was cut to the proper size.

If you have to go buy a new antenna any how, I would just stick to the JR antenna and you will know every thing is ok...

Good luck and be safe. If it does not fit or it does not appear to be 100% DON'T risk it. There is nothing worse than looking back with your 20/20 hind sight and saying to yourself, "boy that wasn't too smart"...

thanks, ill range test it tomorrow at the field if not my good buddy sazid i can use his, till i order one on monday
