JR 662 & Delta/Elevon set-up help please.
Hi,
Could anyone please tell me how to connect the servos to my JR R700 r.x. channels for correct Delta Wing/Elevon operation. T.x. is a JR 662.
(When I bought this transmitter here in England last year it was supplied with a U.S. XP652 manual which has different programming switches and no mention of channel connections for Delta wing )
Very many thanks !
B.D.

JR 662 & Delta/Elevon set-up help please.
Hi Peter,
Thanks for the reply but I'm afraid that's not the correct connections as only one servos moves.
I've tried one servo on Elevator and one servo on Aileron channels and with the Delta mix on this seems to work (not installed in the plane yet tho). But I'm not sure which left/right servo should go to which channel without trying all the reversing, trims, etc.
Hey, it's an EPP glider - I'll just throw it off a cliff and find out, it can only bounce

Elevons
I haven't checked the manual, but on all the JR's I have owned, you have to go to the System Set-up Menu and set an Elevon wing type. This is the menu you get to by turning the Tx off, holding down the Up & Down buttons and turning it on. Then you go to wing type and select Elevon or Delta.

Just to clarify:
* go to system menu
* enable DLT wing mode
* plug servos to Elv and Ail (as per V-tail instructions, that's the only wing type that they tell you how to plug the servos).
* cycle power switch
* go to servo reversing menu
* try out different Elv/Ail Norm/Rev untill you get the correct stick movement; ie:
* pull stick both elevons move up, push stick both down
* right stick R elevon up, L down; left stick L elevon up R down
You have to adjust the Norm/Rev as servo placement is different for each a/c (ie, servo is on top or below, facing forward or backwards, etc)
