Jr receiver, Spektrum servos
Hey guys,
I've been modelling quite some time but after reading some threads on here it appears I fly with stone age equipment!
Just a question im sure someone here can answer, Would I be able to use an old JR run of the mill 6 channel receiver (coupled with a very basic transmitter) with this package gear?

RE: Jr receiver, Spektrum servos
You can use any transmitter/receiver combination you want as long as it has the Range, for your particular flying style, and the Features, to allow you to set up the plane the way you like. If your radio is Non-Computer, it won't have Mixing capabilities. That will limit you somewhat.
Define Old Receiver!! As long as it is Narrow Band it should be OK. Obviously, the Rx should be compatible with the Tx. Will the Tx be a computer radio or not? You need to give us some more details.
Your thread is titled JR Rx and Spektrum servos. I am not all that familiar with all the Spektrum servos, but at least some of them have Mini JST connectors which will not fit in an older JR Rx, so they would have to be changed
