If you are putting the Ailerons on separate channels, put them on Ch1 and Ch7. Ch6 is the default for Flaps. You can mix the Rudders (Ch4) with the Nosewheel (Ch8). The Nosewheel is controlled by Pull-Pull cables, so the Nosewheel will not move when the Retracts are up.

The Nosewheel steering cables go slack when the Retracts go up.

If you have to Stop the Nosewheel servo from moving, when the Retracts are up, use a Pmix and make Retracts the Master and Nosewheel the Slave. Set the Nosewheel movement to Zero when the Retracts are up.

linear mix chan 4 master to chanel 8 nosewheel....
set the switch for the mix to the samw switch as the gear.....

when gear switch is up... mix off... no movement and I think it should return to center....
when switch is down.. mix is on... moves normal

just checked it out on my 10c

using p-mix 1 (1-4 will work)

the screen will read the following

Rate > +100%
< +100%
(you can revese this to reverse the servo or set your steering travel)
offset > 0%
master > CH4
Slave > CH8

Mix > OFF
Trim >ON
Link >OFF
SW > swH
(set to your gear switch)
Posi> DOWN (set you the position your gear is going to be extended)

Thanks

The reason i need the nosewheel to stop is because i use Jet A1 and springair retract and the wheel will hit the wall if it moves in upwardsposition.

I will try and do the above after work

Thanks for the help

Are you using Steering Cables or a Tiller Arm, for Nosewheel steering?

If lyou are using cables, how can the Nosewheel move if the cables are slack? I have used Springair Retracts for years.
