Default Charging Question

I am trying to charge a Futaba Super 7 with an Alpha 4 charger. The diode in the charging jack won't allow this. How do I bypass this??

Default RE: Charging Question

Many of the charger manufacturers publish instructions as to how to bypass the diode in older Tx's that still prevent the use of Cycling Chargers and Digital Voltmeters, through the Tx Charge Jack. I have done it before with a small guage wire soldered across the diode leads.

It is just as easy to pull the battery and charge it externally with your charger of choice.
