Default RDS8000 Has Me Confused!!

I have receivers in two planes, SlowStick and Trojan T28, both electric. Each RX has been paired with my transmitter. I just discovered (accidentally) that if both receivers are powered at the same time, they both react to transmitter signals, regardless of model selection. Is that normal???

I guess I expected that only the plane (RX) corresponding to the selected model would respond. Please help.

Thanks

Frank

the receivers are paired to the transmitter , then the model selection is the settings for the airplane

So you're saying this behavior is normal?

I think only Spektrum has the model match feature. Otherwise, all bound receivers will respond like a 72mhz radio would.

OK, thanks to both of you. The more I think about it the more sense it makes. It's just that it caught me by surprise. I obviously hadn't thought it through before.
