JR data transfer
Hi, Ihave noticed that on the pc programming, if you set "wing normal" it does not allow you to program ail differential, but...this can be done in the TX programming[]
I have also noticed that when you transfer a set-up from TX to PC, programmed with ail diff in wing normal, upon opening the file, the diff values are shown, but greyed out and not modifiable ????[>:]
The last thing I have tried is to program (PC) the ail diff in the "wing flaperon" mode and then switch to wing normal....the diff values appear greyed out. As soon as I have a chance I will transfer this file to the TX to check if the differential works....will let you all know, in the meantime your comments and sufggestions are welcome.

I confirm what you wrote but I'm not terribly surprised the transmitter and the computer programming don't track exactly. I would be much more upset to find that the computer program has modified a stored program so that it differs from the original transmitter one.

RE: JR data transfer
Hello,
Let me point to the reason there is no differnetial in "Wing Type Normal" When you have this case you are using one aileron servo or a Y cord. In which case you can not do differnetial at all unless you offset the pushrod connections using a servo wheel. It takes TWO servos on separate channels (also known as Flaperon wing type) to get differential.
Go try putting differential into any model/Tx with one servo or a Y cord and report back please.

I assumed that what dinorc did was to set the wing type to normal, inhibit one of the channels in DeviceSEL and then mate that channel to the aileron. When you do that on the transmitter, the wing differential menu is available. It's not on the computer program.

RE: JR data transfer
Allan, that's exactly what I did....there is obviously a little difference between tx and pc programming, but we can certainly live with it.
Thanks for the reply.
