Default My DX3S died... Or something.

I picked up a DX3S a few days ago (Dec. 27th, to be exact) and all I've done is bind the RX's and calibrate the two vehicles, and about 20 minutes or so of drive time.

Now when I turn it on, all the screen says is "ERROR"

Is there any way for me to fix it? Some sort of reset procedure or anything?

Did you charge the radio? Did you use the correct charger plug for JR/Spektrum? It is the reverse of the Futaba stuff.

No I didn't...

With 20 - 25 minutes runtime on it, it's still using the factory batteries.

You could try some fresh batteries. I think it comes with regular batteries instead of rechargables. It is possible that the batteries are no good.

That was the first thing I tried when it happened... Even leaving the batteries out for a couple hours didn't clear anything up.

Ended up exchanging it for a DX3R... I'm liking the R a lot more... It has a heftier, better quality feel to it.
