Default Range of the R610M Micro Receiver

According to JR the 610 is supposed to be a full range rx.

The early ones were sent out with a shorter antenna than the later ones . If you have a blue dot stuck on the rx somewhere you have the full range version.

In any case the antenna length should be 39 1/2 inches. If yours is shorter than that you can return it and they will install the correct length antenna free of charge.

Hope this helps, John

JR state that 75 to 100 feet is what you would expect using a 39" long antenna.
The early R610M receivers came out of Japan with 60cm/24 inches of antenna for use in Park and Fly models.

Default DavidO

The 75-100 feet is the ground range i think because that is what it told me in my manual but it does not say the air range.

It is expected that you would achieve up to 1 mile air range depending upon conditions at the time.
