Hitec Receiver for 31%
I just bought a AW 31% Edge 540T and was told to put a hitec receiver inside because they are sealed in epoxy, and are better suited to withstand vibrations from a Gas engine. I bought 2 of the 29672 Super Slim Receivers. After looking at some other documentation I think these are made more for gliders. Or am I just nuts? I just want to make sure and use the best receiver I can for this project. Any thoughts?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Hitec Receiver for 31%
This is from the hitecrcd.com site:
First Introduced in 1993 the Supreme quickly became the world's most popular and most dependable aftermarket receiver. In 1998 we introduced the Supreme Super Slim for use in the latest narrow body gliders. With the same rock solid performance as the original Supreme, the Super Slim will provide the user with years of glitch free operation
Didn't know if that was to say they are ONLY for gliders, or thats just a "feature" of the slim style?

I have used Hitec rcvrs for a couple of years including the SuperSlim in both glow and now gas. No problems at all. Best bang for the buck if you ax me.

Hitec Receiver for 31%
Just received this from hitec Tech Support?
Well, maybe I will bring those back to the shop and get the other ones?
The Super slims were intended more for sailplane use but it should also
work in your gasser. If you are really concerned about vibration in the
plane then I would use the original supreme series receiver. #23572 for
negative shift radios and #23672 for positive shift radios. Our
receivers are not sealed in epoxy.
