I have one on my rudder of a 50cc gasser and like it alot. I have 12 flights on it. It centers good, is very smooth and quiet. I will certainly buy more when I need them. Certainly worth the money to me.

Well, I bought 6 of the 6001 metal gear Power HD servos 0n the 7th of May 2009. I put them in a brand new Seagull Yak 54 .90 size. Today 6 Jun 09, 30 days later, I had the rudder servo go out. I was flying across from the hobby shop where I bought them and took the plane back to him and showed him. He tested theservo and sure enough, it was dead. I replaced it with another 6001 which he exchanged for me. Went right across the street to fly again. Took off, made one pass and just like that, the new rudder servo went hard right, and I mean hard right, so far right that I was unable to recover from it. there went a brand new Yak 54. Luckily not even a scratch on the brand new Saito 125. I will never trustPower HDservos again. I was actually thinking about putting the Power HD 9150 digital in a 50cc gas Extra 330, but not now, noteven if you GAVE them to me. It was definately the servo, we unplugged it after the crash, into the aileron channel and it did the same thing, hard right. I would think twice about them if your considering them. I could have got the only bad two in the bunch but I doubt it. I am going to ask for a refund on the six I bought and stick to Hi tech, JR, Futaba, somthing that has been proven.

Is this the one you bought? http://www.troybuiltmodels.com/items/HD-6001HBHV.html

The 9150 is the servo I was referring to. There is alot of good feedback out there on the 9150's but I've seen quiet a bit of bad on the other Power-HD's.

I have 6 of the HD-2213MG, and 4 of the HD-2216HB servos.  They have held up well in my 450 sized helicopters.

It may be just the one servo in their line.  I have about 3 hours of flight time on them with out so much as a buzz.  They are working well for me.

I am not using the big ones, yet.  Looks like I will keep an eye out for the 9150's and stay away from 6001s'.
