Default Cheapest 2.4Ghz

What is the cheapest one of these that I can get. I'm not bothered about features just want it to work. Will i need a battery pack to power the transmitter?

I haven't had any problems but i have only ran it on this track http://www.maritimeracing.co.uk/ which isn't really that big so haven't tested it properly. Try and ask some other people who have used it before.
