Default SIMULATOR CABLE OF AIRTRONICS

I am wanting to use my Airtronics 8000 on a simulator to learn to fly helis. Does anyone know of a source for the simulator cable? All I have seen are listed for Futaba.

For the most part, each R/C Simulator has it's own USB cable with a small circuit board designed to prevent the Sim from working if you don't use their cable. This helps prevent Software Piracy.

Which R/C Simulator were your planning on using? The big names are Real Flight G4.5, Aerofly Pro Deluxe, and FS1.

Real Flight comes with a Transmitter. If you want to use your own, you need an Adapter cable that plugs in between the Real Flight TX and yours.
You can buy Aerofly Pro Deluxe with or without a dedicated Tx. I have always used my own Tx and the proper Adapter cable.

Aerofly Pro Deluxe has an excellent Support area in the R/C Flight Sim forum.

DIY For FMS and many other simulators:
TX Buddy box plugs, Interface pin assignment
SmartPropoPlus - Connection via PC Microphone Socket - DIY for any TX

NB for Airtronics users, more information as above, is generally availablle under the brand name of "Sanwa"[which is howAirtronics is known outside USA].

Aerofly Pro Deluxe comes with a cable for Airtronics. The cable Y's off into to ends so you can use other radios too.
