Nose wheel steering in a V-tail set-up ?
I have a Futaba 8 UAP in my V-tail Bonanza and am confused about how to get correct nose wheel steering. My steering is reversed plus and it goes left and right with up and down elevator.
The only thing I can think of is to run my steering servo(which was on a Y harness to the rudder channel) to channel 8
I dunno any ideas out there?...Thanks Steve

Steve, not too much I know on this one, but do you have mix capability? Put on a unused ch and mix rudder with that ch? Just a thought.

Mix rudder to ch8 with link off, and plug the steering servo into ch8.
Set the mix rate to +100% in both directions. If the steering goes the
wrong way, set the mix rate to -100%.
If you want to disable the knob from controlling ch 8, use another mix
to mix ch8 with itself at -100%.
You can use ch8 subtrim to adjust the steering centre, or do it mechanically.
