Turnigy/Eurgle 9 channel 2.4 radio
Has anyone had any experience with this radio, I got it with an electric Heli. It did not come with the correct manual. I have worked out most of the things I need to know but I would like a manual.
Thanks

I just got mine today Tom.
Manual you can download. Radio is also called turnigy 9x and Imax 9x (Pls. google)
Some ppl. had faced various problems with the radio (both manufacturing quality, soldering etc. as well as software )
You need to check yours.

I have had mine almost a year. I got mine from Leaders. The one from HobbyKing, Hobbypartz has the 2.4g antenna coming out the top where the 72mhz used to. mine has a plug in module and the antenna comes out of the module. Mine is bone stock right out of the box. I have (8) RX's bound to the Tx. It has not given any issues to date. My only issue is the menu structure is not easy to figure out the first time. After about an hour of hitting the buttons and finding out what it does, it is not bad.
In the radio section on RCGroups, there ae a couple real long threads on this radio.

I am going to order the backlite / program board for smartieparts. It has the back lite display plus the programmer and USB hook ups to plug it into your PC to flash the memory to really open up the radio's features.
Buzz.

I have had mine for 12mths and upgraded the firmware to ER9X as soon as I got it, which opens up so many features that you would normally only get on a more expensive transmitter. I fly large scale gas planes and wanted peace of mind so I have recently replaced the stock module with an FrSky telemetry module as the stock module does not have a range check feature. One critical thing to check when you get your transmitter is to to remove back cover and check all soldered joints inside as a lot of people (including myself) have had problems with poorly soldered connections.
