Default Are these ebay servos any good?

If you type in mini servo in ebay, there are several companies selling mini or micro servos very cheap. All i fly are foamies and small (400 and below) helicopters. do you think that these servos are worth trying? they are similar to a HS55 which is what i use but they are 1.5 grams heavier.

If you mean the SG 90's- they aren't too bad. They are pretty much all I use in my Foamies and other disposables.
For the Helis? - wouldn't have a clue.

A buddy in the club likes the sg90's. I plan on trying some later on. He also says the other servos that look like the sg90 dont center very good. He's been trying different servos and settled on the sg90. They were all cheap enough to buy 2 of each for testing.

Here are some places I've found Tower Pro SG90's:

Don't be in a hurry to get them, though, they come from China. ($5.01 each or 3 for $4.24 each and shipping is free)

If you're in a hurry, get the Tower Pro SG90's from Heads Up RC. ($5.95 each) They're only about a dollar more and shipping is only $2.00 no matter how much you order.

This RC pilot does a lot of reviews on products he buys. Seems to be decent information on lots of items.

if you want some very good and cheap servos for foamys, have a look at HOBBY CITY. they have heaps of HXT-500 Servos going for $3.50. i have been using the HXT-900 servos for some time without any problems and have just bought a lot of the 500 size. just to note when you look at these servos make sure you get the correct weight as the first listing includes packing, look at more info on.
