Where to find transmitter for Radioshack truck.
Last week I was doing some work for someone and spotted a couple RC trucks, long story short I was given them for free. They are both from Radioshack but one is 4x4 and pretty substantial. The only problem is they don't have remotes. I've tried a couple Ihad laying around but they didn't work. Does anyone have any idea where I can get a remote that will work for this?
I also have another question. I have developed an interest in RCand am wonder what the best budget (>75$) 4x4 electric buggy is? Or can I even get one for that price?

Radio shack RC all run on AM radios so you'd need to find the frequency of it and try to find a matching radio somewhere.
You will not find a hobby grade RC for $75, I bet the radio shack ones cost close to that.
A slash is a good entry into hobby grade RCs and they are $200 new.

I have no answer to the radio question.
Here are links to three of the largest RC distributors in the US. They may or may not have the price point you are looking for but they do sell a lot of RC cars and trucks.

I can't find my camera so I can't get pics until later. It has a blue body, black chassis, green wheels. It has a dinosaur sticker on the side. How would I go about finding what frequency it operates on? None of the stickers say anything.
After some searching I've found a car like this. Is it junk?

It's a lost cause trying to find transmitters for radio shack rc. You haveto have the right frequency and channel. It's a nightmare. I would just go buy a good use quality Rc on ebay. You could try there for transmitters but again you will be searching. You can always find a good deal for use stuff there.
