Default My DX2.0 super mods converted to DX3.0 and Telemetry

Here are a few mods that I have done to my DX2.0

1) Conversion from DX2.0 to DX3.0
2) Internal 3S lipo for longer usage
3) Internal DC regulator for Telemetry Display
4) Telemetry Display

I bought this radio because I was low on budget, but I found information on how to convert this radio to a DX3.0 by only moving a resistor and them I found a Telemetry system cheap too, so I decided to mod the heck out of the radio.

One last mod that I will do is a better antenna, that will be later.

DX2.0 to DX3.0 conversion

Internal 3S lipo (11.1v@2150mAh) Last 3-4 times longer than the regular energizer (8) 2500mAh AA's

Internal adjustable DC/DC regulator to provide the 9v that I need for the Telemetry Display, its connected directly to the battery this way I can turned on when I need to, and for binding the unit to the radio is better 2 switches instead the radio turning on both, the regulator can be found on rangevideo.com

Telemetry Display (rear bracket will be changed for a stronger one)

If you have any questions about the mods, let me know I will be happy to help you.

this is awesome.....I'm tempted to do the 2.0->3.0 mod some time in the future if/when I get the 2.0, but I'm nervous I'll break everything , I'd probably buy a brand new super small solder tip before hand though...

Hello. I followed the directions here and I was able to unlock the DX3.0 features but was unable to get the 4 model settings. Any suggestions?
