Transmitting on 2.4 and 35/72 from same TX
Many guys on bigger models use two recievers, one half of the model on each receiver.
With the 2.4 modules simply replacing the rf board of a 35 or 72mhz set, would it be possible to connect up both and have both 35/72mhx reciever and a 2.4 reciever in the same model transmitting to both at the same time [sm=50_50.gif]

When you replace a 35mhz RF output board with a 2.4 board it transmits on 2.4, you have three wires positive, negative and signal/data the transmitter has no idea what is connected to it but some type of isolation would be needed to prevent the two boards from causing problems with the other but the transmitter should be able to transmit on both at the same time.
I have no real reason other than "would it work", there is a lot going on about 2.4 lockouts in some areas and unkown failures etc.
Many arguements for and against both systems so why not have both.

Wouldn't you need two antennas, as well? I have a Spektrum RF Module for my XP9303. When I switch from 72Mhz to 2.4Ghz, I have to switch antennas, as well.
I am still using 72Mhz because I have not replaced all my 72Mhz Rx's, yet. When I do, there will be no more 72Mhz for me. The few minor problems I have had with 2.4 contrast sharply with the 31 years of resolving 72Mhz RF Noise issues.

I think it they only sell duel 2.4 set ups now but they use to sell duel 72 or 35 and 72/2.4 setups. A lot of the high end jet guys like them.
