Default Will Spektrum DX6 Work??

New to the whole 2.4 scene. Will a spektrum dx6 system work with a 40-60 size glow plane. Its my understanding that this system is mainly for helis and park flyers, but is anyone using it on a glow plane? I don't quite understand, is it a different range setup or something?

The DX6i is a full range Tx and Rx. You can fly anything you want with it.

There's a difference between the DX6 and the DX6i - The DX6 (no i) is only compatible with the early receiver, might be other restrictions (range, etc) but I don't know for sure.

DX6 is a park flyer radio and only compatible with DSM recievers. I surely wouldn't use it in a larger glow model.

DX6i will work fine.
