Default side by side 2.4 set up

Ok here is the question.....
I have a Aerial photography airplane it is a two person operation. The main system for controls is 2.4. our video down link is 900mhz, we have added a pan/tilt system to it.
My original thought was to control the pan/tilt with a 72mhz radio. My business partner found a good deal on a new 2.4 system and got it. If they are bound separately will they lock each other out in flight. The simple way to find out is a range check, but i do not want to take the time to do the install if it is going to lock out or cause any problems.
has anyone had any experience with this? the receivers could be approx 1-3 feet apart if that matters. I know that the TX being close to each other not a big deal but the receivers are what scare me. thanks in advance

Are they both the same brand? If so, ask the manufacturer directly. Business is business, then you would have a writen response on file.

Should work fine. They should pick up the unique id's just as separate models would. They are receiving so being within a foot, they don't even know the other is there.
